Cinematic
Light Rain
Scene 1,
Light rain will be projected in the first scene, when the soft light is shining on the funeral. The second half of the first scene has a very depressing mood. In order to enhance this mood even further, the rain in the background will be projected, accompanied by the sound of rain falling in the ground. The idea of making the scene depressing and sorrowful is to allow the audience to critically think about how their actions can have an effect on more than just the individual victim. Although this touch is subtle, it will connect all the other elements of the scene together, and that is why I have chosen to include it into my scene.

Sewing the Angel Costumes
Scene 2,
The sewing of the angel costumes will be projected in the second scene, when the angels walk on stage, and during the voice over and the song. This is the part of the scene where Romaine and her angels come on stage, and represent a non-violent way of keeping negative opinions oppressed. The projection of the angels sewing their costumes is important to include because it represents the hard work that went into the idea. It shows that if you want something done, sometimes you have to put in the hard yards and do it yourself. Using this projection will suggest to young people that standing up for what they believe without using violence can take work, but in the end it is worth it.
