Sound and Music
Wherever You Will Go - by Beth
Scene 1,
This song will be played in the first scene, when the soft light is shining on the funeral. The second half of the first scene has a very depressing mood. In order to enhance this mood even further, 'Wherever You Will Go' plays over the sound system. The idea of making the scene depressing and sorrowful is to allow the audience to critically think about how their actions can have an effect on more than just the individual victim. Music can inflict great emotion upon the audience, and that is why I have chosen to include this song into my scene.

She Keeps Me Warm - by Mary Lambert
Scene 2,
This song will be played in the second scene, when the projection and voice over are playing and when the angels walk on stage. This part of the scene represents a non-violent way of keeping negative opinions oppressed, and perhaps encourages young people to stand up for what they believe without using violence. The music in this scene is a familiar LGBT song that is likely to be recognized by young people, called 'She Keeps Me Warm'. Music is used in this scene as more of a symbol, and represents the power of using non-violent ways of expressing how your values and beliefs.
